Dr. Marti Larson received her DVM from The Ohio State University. She then completed an internship at Animal Medical Center, and then her MS and Radiology residency back at The Ohio State University. She has been ACVR accredited since 1987.

Dr. Larson has been a practicing Radiologist at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine, Virginia Tech since 1986, where she is currently a Professor. Her interests include abdominal ultrasound, especially feline biliary and pancreatic disease, thoracic radiology and ultrasound.

David Biller

Dr. David Biller received his DVM from Auburn University and completed his residency in radiology in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at The Ohio State University. He joined the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where his primary responsibilities were clinical teaching and research. He returned to The Ohio State University in 1991 as a radiologist and is currently at Kansas State University.

Dr. Biller’s major clinical interest is diagnostic ultrasound of small and large animals. His major research interests involve the use of diagnostic ultrasound in the diagnosis and evaluation of spontaneous animal diseases and the study of polycystic kidney disease in cats.

Chris Lamb

Dr. Chris Lamb graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1983. He was Resident in Radiology at Tufts University and continued there as Assistant Professor. In 1990 he returned to England to work in small animal referral practice in London. In 1992 he joined The Royal Veterinary College, University of London. He has helped train many residents, has numerous publications covering most aspects of diagnostic imaging, has had various roles for the ACVR and ECVDI, and is an active CPD provider.

Dr. Lamb retired from The RVC as Professor of Radiology in 2019. He now works part-time for both Antech Imaging Services and North Downs Specialist Referrals.

Jeffrey Ruth
Jeffrey Ruth

Dr. Jeff Ruth earned his undergraduate and DVM degrees from Texas A&M University. After graduation, he spent several years in general practice in Texas, achieving diplomate status through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in canine and feline practice. He then completed a diagnostic imaging internship at the Louisiana State University College of Veterinary Medicine and a residency and Masters degree program at Purdue University.

Dr. Lamb became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2013. Following residency, he served as faculty at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Ruth joined IDEXX Telemedicine Consultants in 2018.
