Dr Anthony Pease graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Then, after completed an equine internship at the Marion DuPont Scott Equine Medical Center in Virginia and a small animal internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Florida, he completed a diagnostic imaging residency at Cornell University. I became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) and served as an assistant professor at North Carolina State University and a tenured Associate Professor at Michigan State University. He is a former President of ACVR, and currently their Director of Continuing Education for the ACVR. He is currently the Chief Veterinary Medical Officer for the Viticus Group (formerly known as WVC) and lectures extensively on diagnostic imaging in small and large animal as well as supervising hands-on laboratories on small animal and equine imaging.

Eli Cohen

Dr. Cohen received his B.S. in marine science and biology from the University of Tampa in 2001, and his D.V.M. from the Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. He completed a rotating internship at Florida Veterinary Specialists in 2009, in addition to working as a general practitioner in Tampa, FL. He then attended the University of Georgia where he completed his residency in diagnostic imaging in 2012. He become a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2013. Following completion of residency, he worked as a senior lecturer at Massey University in New Zealand. In 2014, he returned to the United States in a faculty position at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has special interest in cross sectional imaging (CT, MRI), zoo/exotic/wildlife animal imaging, and the role of teaching in accelerating advancement from novice to expert in relation to diagnostic imaging

Dr. Côté is a Professor of Small Animal Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College/Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Prince Edward Island in Canada. His interests include feline cardiology, the intersection between human and veterinary medicine, and interpersonal communication in the clinical setting. He is coeditor of two textbooks: Clinical Veterinary Advisor textbook and Ettinger’s Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine. He is a 3M National Teaching Fellow, Canada’s highest recognition for postsecondary educators. His hobbies include languages, travel, and as a proud Newfoundland dog owner, cleaning up hair and drool.

Lukas Kawalilak

Dr. Lukas Kawalilak graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Following receiving his veterinary medicine degree, he spent two years at Washington State University completing a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery followed by a small animal radiology internship. He completed a veterinary diagnostic imaging residency in 2018 that included training at both the Michigan State University and Colorado State University. Thereafter, he successfully completed board certification in Veterinary Radiology in 2018. He continued as an assistant professor at Colorado State University until he decided to move back home to the Edmonton area. Dr. Lukas Kawalilak has a professional interest in abdominal ultrasound and investigated its use in determining normal renal size in neonatal dogs.

Nathan C. Nelson, DVM, MS, DACVR, is an associate professor of diagnostic imaging at North Carolina State University. He attended The Ohio State University for both undergraduate and veterinary education, followed by an internship at Michigan State University. He returned to Ohio State for diagnostic imaging residency and was fortunate to train with a wide variety of species using modern equipment. Following residency, he returned to Michigan State University to work as a radiologist for 9 years, prior to recently joining the faculty at North Carolina State University.
