Taught by world renowned experts in equine neurology, this intensive course will cover current approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of equine neurologic disease.

Lectures will focus on an in-depth review of the neurologic exam, electrodiagnostics, advanced imaging of the brain and cervical spine and diseases including cervical vertebral stenotic myelopathy, equine degenerative myelopathy, neuroborreliosis, seizure disorders, sleep disorders, and equine protozoal myeloencephalopathy.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

1. Localize neurologic lesions in complex cases.
2. Interpret an EEG and EMG trace.
3. Prescribe current treatment and preventive therapy for EPM.
4. Identify specific anatomical sites in the brain and/or spinal cord affected by certain diseases.
