COURSE OVERVIEW

Course Description:
This 3-day virtual course will focus on advances in companion animal nephrology and urology. Topics covered will include an introduction to diagnostic and therapeutic interventional endourology; management of upper urinary tract infections including patients with complications; evidence-based approach to bacteriuria; and medical and dietary therapy for chronic kidney disease and other urinary disorders.

This virtual program will consist of traditional lectures, short presentations of cases to highlight urology and nephrology in practice, and panel discussions.   Diplomates and candidates will be provided with a unique opportunity to focus on specialist-level conditions and learn from colleagues in both academia and private practice. New ideas and approaches can be immediately incorporated into daily activities, with enhanced patient care and improved outcomes.
