NEUROPATHOLOGY

This 6-hour course will provide an overview of neuropathology, with a particular focus on spinal cord diseases. A general review of normal spinal cord histopathology will precede discussion of large and small animal spinal pathologies.        

Topics include:  

  • An Introduction to Spinal Cord Embryology, Anatomy, and Malformations 
  • Degenerative Diseases of the Central Nervous System
  • Spinal Neoplasia (2 hours)
  • Inflammatory, Traumatic, and Circulatory Conditions of the Spinal Cord (2 hours)

Registration fee includes:

  • (6) modules containing pre-recorded lectures, proceedings and assessments.
  • 1 hour Live Q&A with the presenters, Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 8:00 am PDT / 9:00 am MDT / 10:00 am CDT / 11:00 am EDT. Live Q&A will be recorded and will be made available along with the recorded content for access at a future time.
  • Access to the modules until September 18, 2023.

 

RACE application status

This program has been approved for  5.0 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions which recognize AAVSB RACE approval.
