ELECTRODIAGNOSTICS

This 6-hour course is designed to offer an intense, high-level review of clinical veterinary electrophysiology and electrodiagnostic testing aimed at the neurology resident. Topics will include brainstem auditory evoked responses, electromyography, nerve conduction studies, evaluation of the neuromuscular junction, and electroencephalography.
By the end of this course you will:
- Have an understanding of electrophysiologic theory
- Have a basic overview of electrodiagnostic testing for neurological disorders
- Have a basic understanding of diagnostic testing for neuromuscular disorder
Registration fee includes:
- (6) 1-hour RACE-approved modules containing pre-recorded lectures, proceedings and assessments.
- 1 hour Live Q&A with the presenters, Monday, August 24, 2020, time to be announced. Live Q&A will be recorded and wil be made available along with the recorded content for access at a future time.
- Access to the modules until August 2022.
RACE application status
This program will be submitted for 6.0 hours of continuing education credit in jurisdictions which recognize AAVSB RACE approval.
